Google Voice Numbers and Apps

Use a Google Voice number and apps attached to that number to send/receive pics and phone calls. You can receive pictures through Voice, but you cannot send them, making apps such as Whatsapp, Tango, Viber, or Kik Messenger essential.

Do not get upset when a sugar doesn't want to share his or her real phone number. Safety is essential- they are protecting themselves!

Also, use a different "sugar" or throwaway e-mail address than your main one.

Don't use the same social media accounts that you use with regular family and friends. If you must use social media with your potential or current, use a different account attached to your sugar e-mail. Social media is great to stay connected, but if you prefer to be discreet, friending or following your sugar might raise some red flags to those who shouldn't know about it.

Should you tell them up front that you are using a Google Voice number? I feel like that would maybe hurt some SDs egos, but then again, they should be protecting themselves, too!
